Head of Business Intelligence Platforms (Oracle)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global team of architects, developers, DBAs, and DevOps engineers responsible for business applications and platforms.
• Set the strategic direction for Oracle-based platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, and related enterprise technologies.
• Govern application, data, cloud, and integration architectures for scalable, secure, reliable, and sustainable solutions.
• Drive platform modernization, cloud transformation, automation, Agile delivery, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.
• Manage delivery governance, budgets, risks, compliance, vendor relationships, portfolio resources, and financial reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate priorities into digital solutions and develop high-performing talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years leading multinational teams and experience with Oracle-based applications, solution delivery, or enterprise application transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, Java applications, DevOps, data architecture, and enterprise modernization.
• Experience with Agile and Lean product development practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, executive stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Fluent English communication skills and legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required. Willingness to travel is also required.
