Transport Specialist (m/f/d) (Logistics)

What you will do

• Monitor the daily operational performance of global transport service providers and support monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
• Monitor high-level shipment execution, ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations, and manage operational escalations.
• Support Sales, Customer Order Desk, and Procurement teams by resolving transport-related inquiries and translating customer needs into logistics solutions.
• Coordinate complex logistics activities, including Aircraft on Ground and oversize shipments.
• Contribute operational data and execute work packages in cross-functional transport projects involving new processes and tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics with relevant professional experience.
• Professional experience in transportation, freight forwarding, or international supply chains.
• Knowledge of air, ocean, road, and courier transport, including dangerous goods handling and basic customs procedures.
• Proactive, hands-on, autonomous, and structured working style with strong ownership.
• Strong collaboration skills for working across international teams, time zones, and cultures.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required for communication with global stakeholders and external service providers.
