MS Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance Architect (AI-Driven)

Location: Chicago, United States; willingness to travel 25% required.

Base salary: $165,000–$190,000 annually. Total estimated compensation, including annual incentive opportunity: $189,750–$237,500.

What you will do

• Architect and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions with embedded AI, automation, and predictive capabilities.
• Advise CFOs and senior leaders on AI-enabled ERP strategy, analytics, automation, forecasting, and close-cycle improvements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable D365 F&SCM designs and integrate Power Platform and Azure AI services.
• Lead cross-functional teams through finance transformation, user enablement, change management, and adoption initiatives.
• Oversee full-lifecycle implementations, including design validation, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
• Support sales pursuits through discovery leadership, software demonstrations, project plans, proposals, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in ERP or financial systems, including 5+ years designing D365 F&SCM solutions.
• At least four full-lifecycle implementations as a finance architect, including experience with configurations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, consolidations, treasury, and regulatory reporting.
• Deep D365 F&SCM expertise with Power Platform and Azure AI integrations; familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven automation required.
• Experience engaging C-level executives, leading strategy discussions, managing stakeholders, and guiding large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Based in Chicago and willing to travel 25%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Microsoft certifications MB-310 or MB-700; AB-100 is a plus.
