Lending Specialist-Sales (Consumer Loan Officer)

Location: 11550 Ent Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO, United States

Salary: $22–$25.50 per hour, plus monthly incentives and a 3% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Originate direct consumer loans and facilitate loan closings and funding through branch, lending center, web, video, and other channels.
• Interview applicants about financial history and goals, submit applications, and guide members through the lending process.
• Use consultative sales, account management, and business development to retain accounts and increase loan and fee income.
• Provide financial counseling, including communicating loan denial decisions.
• Track reporting, identify trends, support service-level agreements, and improve productivity.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial services institution.
• At least 6 months of consumer loan origination experience involving products such as auto, personal, unsecured, home equity, or HELOC loans.
• Knowledge of credit reporting and scoring, personal finance, and consumer lending regulations.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute, 10-key proficiency, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and lending software.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of experience as a Wings MSR-LC.
