Material Technology Engineer (Comfort)

What you will do

• Lead material and technology development projects within textile and comfort categories.
• Explore textile materials, fibers, fabric constructions, fillings, foams, nonwovens, and comfort systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for future products.
• Develop material roadmaps, specifications, quality requirements, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product developers, suppliers, universities, startups, innovation teams, and industry experts.
• Support the implementation of new materials and technologies in industrial production.

Requirements

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.
• Experience with textiles, soft materials, comfort products, upholstery, mattresses, bedding, furniture, automotive interiors, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of textile materials, fiber technologies, fabric constructions, nonwovens, foams, fillings, or comfort systems.
• Experience leading development projects and working cross-functionally in complex environments.
• Interest in sustainability, circularity, recycled materials, and future material innovations.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
