Director, Customer Quality Engineer

Location: Shanghai, China; travel required up to 25% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Lead a team or functional area providing strategic direction to the customer quality organization.
• Ensure customer perspectives are understood and addressed by business leaders to improve product and service delivery.
• Manage the development, evaluation, and implementation of strategies for responding to customer issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align customer resolutions with business objectives and identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Act as the primary customer quality contact, driving inquiries and complex issues through resolution.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.

Requirements

• Broad and comprehensive understanding of relevant systems, theories, and practices.
• Broad industry and commercial awareness applied to financial and operational performance.
• Experience leading through subordinate managers and contributing to functional strategy.
• Advanced analytical judgment for resolving highly complex or unusual business problems.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with senior executives and external organizations.
• Compliance with global standards of business conduct and the highest level of ethical conduct.
