Senior Product Manager, Software (Quantum Computing)

Location: Cambridge, UK; hybrid work with three days per week in the Cambridge office. Quarterly travel to conferences and customer visits is required, for less than 10% of working time.

Salary: £75,000–£95,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap, balancing user needs, stakeholder input, and company direction.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to understand market needs and the competitive landscape.
• Use product data, market insight, and competitive analysis to prioritize features and drive adoption.
• Align C-suite stakeholders, research, engineering, business development, and marketing around a shared product vision.
• Support go-to-market execution, launch readiness, external collateral, and product documentation.
• Monitor delivery progress and adapt plans as challenges and opportunities emerge.

Requirements

• Background in engineering or science through a degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of B2B product management experience.
• Experience with high-performance computing or quantum computing and the ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into product decisions.
• Strong active listening, critical thinking, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence without authority, and build trust across teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and customer visits.

• Experience managing both hardware and software products.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
