Manager, Semiconductor Process Engineering

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. The role requires working effectively in a cleanroom environment and supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation when required.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop semiconductor process engineering teams.
• Define and execute process-development strategies for new devices, process modules, technology nodes, and products.
• Lead root-cause investigations into process excursions, integration issues, device-performance gaps, and reliability concerns.
• Partner with Integration, Equipment Engineering, Yield, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Drive improvements in yield, defectivity, process capability, reliability, manufacturability, cost, throughput, and cycle time.
• Support technology transfer, process qualification, change control, risk assessment, and production-readiness activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, process integration, or technology development.
• Experience leading semiconductor technology-development programs from development through qualification, transfer, or production ramp.
• Experience managing, mentoring, or technically leading process engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor unit processes, process integration, device performance, and manufacturing interactions.
• Strong project-management, communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
