Principal Engineer Integration Engineering (Silicon Photonics)

Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year

What you will do

• Own 300mm semiconductor process integration from development and customer engagement through production.
• Develop silicon photonics processes across RF, FinFET, FDSOI, and eNVM technologies.
• Collaborate with process module and packaging teams to drive process solutions.
• Work with technology development and business units to define project scope and address technical requirements.
• Lead the development and delivery of advanced technologies for mass production while balancing quality, cost, and delivery.
• Support environmental, health, safety, and security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related engineering or physical science discipline.
• At least 4 years of industry experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, including schedule, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, clients, and internal and external partners.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• FEOL/BEOL process experience with FinFET and FDSOI technology.
• Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
• Self-directed approach and motivation to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
