Junior Business Analyst (COO Risk)

Location: HBP, Amsterdam - Haarlerbergpark, Netherlands; hybrid working

What you will do

• Support business analysis activities for the ALM Core team within COO Risk.
• Clarify, structure, and document business requirements, decisions, action points, and process changes.
• Track delivery progress, prepare overviews, and help identify impediments.
• Work with colleagues across Financial Risk, Group Treasury, Finance, Technology, Data Management, and reporting.
• Analyse data flows into QRM and support regulatory reporting and risk calculation improvements.
• Translate business questions and findings into clear delivery input for technology teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Risk, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a related domain.
• Foundational analytical skills and willingness to develop in Excel, SQL, and data analysis.
• Interest in financial risk, banking, regulation, technology, and project coordination.
• Ability to structure information, analyse input, communicate clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
