What you will do

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering throughout product discovery, design, development, validation, and release.
• Participate in customer workshops, interviews, design reviews, and design-partner engagements.
• Define and validate safety-domain models, evidence requirements, decision frameworks, business rules, and process documentation.
• Provide expertise across safety management, incident management, process safety, risk management, controls, and organizational learning.
• Evaluate product capabilities and validate customer use cases, industry relevance, and business outcomes.
• Identify emerging industry trends, regulatory expectations, and evolving safety management practices.

Requirements

• Deep experience in high-hazard or safety-critical industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, utilities, mining, energy, manufacturing, transportation, or construction.
• Strong credibility from direct involvement in safety, risk, or process safety leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems, risk-based safety programs, incident and near-miss investigations, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management principles, critical risk controls, hazards, barriers, and operational risk signals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making skills.
• 10+ years of experience in safety, process safety, risk management, operational excellence, or related disciplines.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or using enterprise software for incident management, safety management, process safety, risk management, or operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge industry expertise with technology and product development teams.
