Business Analyst / Meta Data Officer

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working

Salary: €4,324–€5,765 per month based on a 40-hour working week

What you will do

• Collect, interpret, and analyze bottlenecks and developments across data processes, tools, systems, chains, and channels.
• Initiate and implement change management, automation, and continuous improvements for data quality and data management.
• Align data management processes, tools, and systems across data domains, business units, and agile teams.
• Create logical data models, business glossaries, and data directories.
• Advise internal stakeholders and managers as a data management subject matter expert.
• Develop and monitor customer data policies and standards, and assess the impact of GDPR, DORA, and related legislation.

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree in Data Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or data analysis in a large and complex organization.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices such as DAMA-DMBOK.
• Familiarity with data domains and data standards or legislation in the insurance or financial industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English are required.
• Experience leading workshops and meetings, guiding discussions, and supporting co-creation.
