Director, CEO Office (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid, onsite 3–4 days per week in Bridgewater, New Jersey, United States. Some travel is required for business reviews, offsites, and global meetings. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Base pay: $193,629–$254,137 USD per year. Performance-based bonus and/or equity may be available.

What you will do

• Lead the development and refresh of corporate strategy, long-range plans, and annual priorities with senior leaders across finance, R&D, and CARVYKTI.
• Frame and solve the CEO’s most important business questions, including pipeline, portfolio, and CARVYKTI growth priorities.
• Own the leadership-team operating rhythm, including agendas, decision logs, follow-ups, business reviews, and offsites.
• Prepare CEO, board, leadership-team, and strategic decision materials by synthesizing complex data into clear recommendations in English and Chinese.
• Drive high-priority cross-functional projects and represent the CEO’s priorities across functions, regions, and global and China teams.
• Use AI tools for research, analysis, synthesis, and document production, and pilot practical AI use cases for the CEO’s office.

Requirements

• 3–6 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, reaching Engagement Manager or Senior Engagement Manager level, with a focus on healthcare, pharma, or biotech.
• 1–2 years of industry experience in pharma or biotech, plus experience supporting a CEO or executive team on strategy, planning, or transformation.
• Fluent professional English and Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken.
• Degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or bioengineering, with an advanced degree and/or MBA preferred or required by the role profile.
• Experience understanding clinical and scientific data, with exposure to oncology, hematology, or cell therapy.
• Commercial project experience in launch planning, brand strategy, forecasting, market access, or sales-force effectiveness, as well as experience across the US, China, and other global markets.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience using AI tools for analysis and content creation.
• Experience with commercial leadership development or a demonstrated ambition to transition into sales, marketing, or another commercial leadership role after approximately three years.
