TL;DR
Mid-Level AI Engineer (Generative AI/RAG): Building and evolving generative AI and agentic applications for a global enterprise client with an accent on RAG, enterprise integrations, conversational AI, and intelligent workflows. Focus on implementing AI agents, integrating LLM providers and cloud services, and improving evaluation, observability, guardrails, and production reliability.
Location: Brazil; remote home office

What you will do
- Develop and evolve generative AI and agentic applications for a global enterprise client.
- Build RAG solutions, enterprise knowledge retrieval components, and intelligent workflows.
- Implement AI agents that interact with tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Integrate LLM providers and cloud AI services using orchestration patterns such as multi-step workflows and Human-in-the-Loop.
- Implement evaluation, observability, guardrails, monitoring, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders while troubleshooting production AI applications.
Requirements
- Strong Python development skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience developing generative AI and LLM-based applications, including RAG solutions or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks or SDKs such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar.
- Practical knowledge of at least one major LLM provider, along with embeddings, vector search, knowledge retrieval, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Understanding of maintainable software design, distributed applications, asynchronous processing, testing, Docker, CI/CD, and version control.
- English proficiency is required for daily collaboration with international teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-agent or long-running agent workflows and Agentic SDLC tooling.
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs or GraphRAG.
- Experience with Datadog LLM Observability, LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, or similar platforms.
