AI Software Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Hybrid in Bogotá, Colombia, with 8 weeks of remote work per year from outside the usual geographical area

What you will do

• Design and develop AI applications using LLMs, generative models, embeddings, and related technologies.
• Implement RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI agents to improve solution quality and user experience.
• Develop and integrate full-stack solutions across backend and frontend systems.
• Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to integrate AI into existing workflows.
• Deploy AI solutions to production using DevOps practices, cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Apply AI security, safety, privacy, and ethics principles.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with full-stack development experience in Python.
• Knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience or knowledge of LangChain, Flowise, Milvus, AI Agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and at least one cloud platform such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of generative AI models for software development, such as OpenAI Codex or Claude Code, plus familiarity with multimodal models and speech, image, video, and audio technologies.
• English at B2 level or higher, with understanding of AI security, safety, and ethics principles.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying LLM or Generative AI applications in real-world environments.
• Experience with RAG architectures, AI agents, tool-based AI systems, and API integration.
