Expert Site Reliability Engineer (Healthcare IT)

Location: Remote U.S. role; Florida, United States. The role may require up to 25% travel, after-hours and on-call support, and holiday coverage.

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Provide strategic technical guidance and ongoing support to hosted clients.
• Design and document client architectures covering infrastructure, data flows, integrations, domain trust, security, and performance.
• Integrate diverse systems, components, and third-party services into detailed application environments.
• Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project and client-environment roadblocks.
• Review control systems weekly, improve SRE processes and best practices, and maintain client architecture and release documentation.
• Coordinate with hosting, development, PMO, business stakeholders, and Technical Account Managers while mentoring other SREs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall professional experience.
• 2–3 years of expert-level systems engineering experience within an assigned product.
• Deep expertise in systems engineering and technical architecture.
• Experience designing complex integrations, data flows, infrastructure components, and hosted environments.
• Strong knowledge of security, performance, technical risk mitigation, control systems, and technical documentation.
• Advanced client service, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, accountability, and mentorship skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience with healthcare products in a support, development, or consultancy environment.
