Site Reliability Engineer (Identity & Access Management)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Monitor production systems and respond to incidents while maintaining SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Perform root cause analysis, create postmortems, and improve incident response and system stability.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and maintain monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability systems.
• Administer platform infrastructure, support change management, and contribute to product roadmaps and technical strategies.
• Advise Product, Platform, and Software Engineering stakeholders on supportability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Prepare operational processes and tools for product launches, pilots, and go-live activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell automation and SQL queries.
• Experience with IT operations, system administration in Linux/Unix environments, ticketing systems, duty watch, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of networking, databases, incident response, monitoring, diagnostics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Understanding of ITIL service management, software development lifecycles, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the Cincinnati, Ohio office.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, encryption, RBAC, and ACLs.
• Experience with Ping Identity products, Centrify, Ansible, Terraform, configuration management, or Infrastructure as Code.
• ITIL 4 Foundation, SRE Fundamentals, DevOps Foundation, or PSM1 certification.
• Experience with code optimization, infrastructure rightsizing, chaos engineering, and test-driven development.
