Sr Application Reliability Analyst

Location: WFH role associated with Downers Grove, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze application reliability and stability objectives for the Application Reliability Engineering and Support team.
• Support operational excellence across application maintenance, production application uptime, and system stability.
• Use data and best-practice methodologies to identify and address reliability challenges and potential gaps.
• Work independently on projects involving operational efficiency and process solutions.
• Collaborate with management, technical staff, and subject matter advisors to understand business needs and develop cost-effective resolutions.
• Represent the support team in meetings with management and other business units when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Technology experience; or a computer science technical certification and 7 years of IT experience; or 9 years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, mobile and web technologies, data center platforms, and end-user platforms.
• Experience with application and server operations, application configuration, iterative/agile/Scrum development tools, system architectures, and application portfolios.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and process simplification skills.
• Ability to proactively address problems and escalate them appropriately.
• Work from home; visa sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience with continuous improvement and testing methodologies.
