Practical Problem Solver, Data & Analytics Specialist

Location: Illescas, Toledo, Spain; hybrid work model when possible, with on-site industrial and plant operations responsibilities.

What you will do

• Collect, clean, and analyze complex industrial datasets to develop predictive digital tools, automate data pipelines, and build monitoring dashboards for plant KPIs.
• Investigate complex shopfloor issues using 8D/9S and advanced problem-solving methods, identify root causes, implement corrective and containment actions, and track ROI.
• Serve as the plant Export Control focal point, provide initial guidance, escalate potential breaches, and support Export Control Officers.
• Guide the industrial community in data analytics practices, supervise subcontracting deliverables, and influence stakeholders with data-driven evidence.
• Apply statistical process control, data-driven tolerances, and optimized process windows to prevent recurrence and strengthen preventive mechanisms.

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial, Aeronautical, or Computer Science Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience in industrial environments involving data analysis, root-cause investigation, and advanced shopfloor problem solving.
• Advanced knowledge of data analytics, Python, Pandas, machine learning, data visualization, and practical generative AI concepts.
• Experience with statistical process control, Pareto analysis, 8D/9S problem solving, and project management.
• Advanced English and Spanish are required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and cross-functional facilitation skills.

Nice to have

• Shainin Certification at Apprentice level or above.
• Google Advanced Data Analytics Capstone experience.
• Previous exposure to Export Control or compliance processes.
