Senior Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; office-based. A Spanish work permit obtained before applying is mandatory.

What you will do

• Research, explore, and analyze data to support user acquisition, retention, and monetization decisions.
• Partner with game teams to analyze player behavior, answer business questions, and design and evaluate A/B tests.
• Build and maintain reliable, documented data models and pipelines using the modern data stack.
• Develop machine-learning projects for behavioral segmentation and monetization.
• Design and maintain actionable Power BI dashboards and reports for studio stakeholders.
• Apply GitLab, CI/CD, AI, and Generative AI practices to improve analysis, reporting, and player insights.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or data science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in similar data analysis or data science positions.
• Highly proficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Amazon Redshift, and transformation tools such as dbt.
• Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools, Git/GitLab, advanced statistics, predictive analytics, and segmentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, visualization, reporting, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Experience applying Generative AI and LLMs to analytics use cases.
• Agile methodology experience and familiarity with JIRA.
• Software engineering practices such as CI/CD pipelines and code review.
• Experience or interest in mobile free-to-play games.
