Consulting Director

What you will do

• Develop and manage the education and employment strategy and grow the integrated client offer.
• Generate business through networking, client relationship management, market development, and competitive bids.
• Lead proposals, including team formation, research methodologies, and budgets.
• Direct complex research and evaluation projects, providing technical leadership and managing project teams and subcontractors.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with government and research-sector clients and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support team development, talent planning, performance management, and methodological capability building.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Expertise in UK policy research and evaluation in education, employment and labour markets, youth and inclusion, or children and families.
• Experience leading large and complex research and evaluation projects and teams.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative social research methods and different evaluation approaches.
• Experience writing competitive bids or grant applications, with strong methodological problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, commercial, business development, client engagement, and competitive bidding skills; degree, master's degree, or PhD in a relevant discipline.
