Community General Manager, Personal Banking - Lower Sackville, NS

Location: Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada; on-site full-time

What you will do

• Lead and coach client-facing Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives across the banking centre and community.
• Build client relationships by providing financial advice and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Monitor banking centre performance, identify gaps, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Coordinate with internal partners to maximize market opportunities and business performance.
• Manage operations, processes, controls, and compliance while minimizing risk.
• Represent CIBC in the community, develop client relationships, and support resolution of client complaints.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Strong client service, financial advising, coaching, relationship-building, and performance management skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Commitment to client focus, accountability, teamwork, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner designation.
