Telehealth Veterinary Nurse

Location: Remote; fixed weekly schedule with flexible and non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: $18 per hour, plus an additional $2 per hour for hours worked between 10 PM and 6 AM EST.

What you will do

• Provide telehealth services and member support through text-based chat and phone communications.
• Deliver empathetic, warm member experiences while handling questions and care needs.
• Triage patients, recognize potential medical emergencies and illnesses, and provide personalized virtual care within clinical training.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communication documentation.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, virtual teams, and in-practice teams.
• Support administrative workflows such as insurance claim submissions and medical record requests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an LVT, RVT, or CVT.
• Knowledge of triage, medical emergencies, and illnesses.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Empathetic customer service approach and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong technical skills with online tools such as G Suite, Slack, and Intercom or other CRM platforms.
• Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.
