Virtual Pharmacy Technician

Location: Remote within the United States; clinical roles are not hired in Alaska, Hawaii, or Rhode Island.

Salary: $22 per hour, with equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Process prescriptions, refills, prior authorizations, and clinical tickets accurately and promptly.
• Apply medication knowledge to identify potential prescribing or workflow issues and escalate them when needed.
• Coordinate care and resolve member issues with RNs, providers, and coaches.
• Route faxes, laboratory results, and medical records through established systems.
• Document activities clearly, follow SOPs, and support quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Provide reliable support for routine and urgent clinical requests and participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician Certification or equivalent training.
• 1–2 years of experience in pharmacy operations or telehealth support preferred.
• Knowledge of e-prescribing tools, medical records systems, and communication platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, communication, and follow-through.
• Ability to work collaboratively, learn new technologies, and use AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Must be eligible for the remote US-based clinical role; hiring is unavailable in Alaska, Hawaii, and Rhode Island.
