Senior Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers on technical sales strategies for new customer acquisition and account expansion.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to identify application security requirements, business challenges, and strategic objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements for SAST, SCA, DAST, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Design tailored solutions addressing customer security, compliance, and software development objectives.
• Engage developers, security practitioners, technical leaders, and executives to build consensus and accelerate decisions.
• Support technical validation, integration discussions, competitive differentiation, and expansion planning across DevSecOps and AI-assisted development environments.

Requirements

• Experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Background in application security, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, software development, security engineering, cloud technologies, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of software vulnerabilities, secure development practices, security testing, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with application security technologies such as SAST, SCA, DAST, or API Security.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and the security implications of AI-generated code.
• Strong communication, presentation, business acumen, and stakeholder-influence skills.
