Calypso Business Analyst

Location: On-site in Wrocław, Poland. Candidates based anywhere in Poland may apply if they are open to relocating to Wrocław.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for the Calypso platform.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Operations, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Design and implement Calypso enhancements and new functionalities.
• Support incident analysis, testing activities including SIT and UAT, and production validation.
• Contribute to process optimization, system upgrades, releases, and platform transformation projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Calypso platform.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting functional and business requirements.
• Knowledge of Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, or Operations workflows, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to derivatives, fixed income, FX, equities, or money markets.
• Understanding of SQL and data analysis.
• Experience in investment banking environments.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Calypso implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
