Credit Secondaries Managing Director / Principal – Strategic Partners (Private Credit)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $200,000–$300,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Source, analyze, and execute investments in credit portfolios and funds across private credit asset classes.
• Work on secondary LP portfolio transactions, GP-led continuation funds, and other structured deals.
• Oversee a team and manage due diligence, transaction execution, and closing processes.
• Negotiate and structure transactions within tight time constraints.
• Prepare internal memoranda and materials supporting investment recommendations.
• Monitor investments and communicate strategy and performance to current and prospective investors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of private credit experience.
• Proven management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound judgment, professional integrity, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a lean, growing team.
• Client focus and the ability to develop creative investment solutions.
