Senior Commodity Lead Buyer (Semiconductors)

Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead and monitor supplier and material qualification projects.
• Develop and implement commodity strategies, including Strategic Material Segment plans.
• Drive material savings projects and recommend cost-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct commercial discussions and negotiations with suppliers.
• Maintain SAP Info Records and manage supplier agreements, including NDAs, CSRs, MPAs, and BCPs.
• Coordinate dispute escalation, legal matters, purchasing procedures, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, materials planning, and process engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP and knowledge of SOX, RBA/ESG, IATF/ISO/EMS standards.
• Experience with contract management and relevant laws.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, including professional English proficiency.
• Ability to work at the Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia location.
