Director of Supply Planning - Assembly, Test, and Materials (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of supply plans across the global Assembly and Test manufacturing network.
• Translate end-to-end supply requirements into feasible stage-level plans covering capacity, cycle time, yield, qualifications, product mix, routing, and manufacturing constraints.
• Lead materials planning for substrates, lead frames, interposers, packaging components, and other critical materials.
• Identify capacity and material constraints, assess their impact, and develop allocation, recovery, and mitigation scenarios.
• Coordinate planning across Central Supply Planning, manufacturing operations, Procurement, engineering, product organizations, and other supply chain functions.
• Build planning capabilities, performance metrics, systems, and processes that support exception-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years with a master’s degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
• Leadership experience managing complex supply-planning or manufacturing-planning organizations.
• Deep understanding of constrained manufacturing environments and the interaction between capacity, materials, product mix, cycle time, inventory, and customer requirements.
• Experience developing supply plans across multiple manufacturing stages and locations, with strong analytical and scenario-planning skills.
• Proven ability to lead global teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive results across organizational boundaries.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Direct experience with semiconductor Assembly and Test manufacturing, packaging materials, substrates, and related planning constraints.
• Experience with Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, or comparable constraint-based planning platforms.
• Experience with multi-stage planning, capacity allocation, scenario planning, optimization, and transforming manual planning into integrated exception-based processes.
