Regional Director (Commercial Clients)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance required at least 12 days per month.

Salary: £86,400–£129,600 per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design and deliver the Commercial Clients business strategy for the region in line with strategic goals and growth targets.
• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop Relationship Directors and Relationship Managers.
• Build and strategically manage relationships with high-profile clients, priority customers, and business introducers.
• Deliver sustainable income within the Group’s risk principles and improve the quality of credit submissions.
• Drive customer satisfaction, service culture, marketing, and the bank’s market profile across the region.

Requirements

• Considerable experience in Corporate and Commercial Banking, including broad knowledge across target sectors.
• Substantial relationship management experience and a proven record of successfully leading teams.
• Experience lending to companies and driving credit analysis for complex deals, with advanced credit and risk knowledge.
• Strong commercial awareness, strategic understanding of banking markets, and advanced financial analysis skills.
• Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, negotiating, communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required before employment begins.

Nice to have

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional banking or finance qualification such as Chartered Banker Diploma, ACIB, CFA, or ACCA.
• Advanced credit and risk analysis training or certification.
