Machining Specialist (CNC)

What you will do

• Perform automated machining, machine control, and operational activities to manufacture components and products to customer and industry requirements.
• Program CNC equipment, apply special tooling, and perform basic maintenance of machine tools.
• Follow workplace health, safety, environment, and quality procedures within agreed timeframes.
• Document operational procedures and execute simultaneous manufacturing activities across value streams.
• Use manufacturing systems and data visualization platforms to monitor process performance and operational trends.
• Execute process interfaces with robotic and automation equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in machining.
• Good written English and fluent conversational English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, applied engineering mathematics, and engineering drawings or schematics.
• Problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to work in a diverse cultural environment and under senior guidance.
• Completion or knowledge of MSOC, BHEST, Singapore Operating Procedures, and the START Safety Program.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
