What you will do
- Design robotic platforms, precision mechanisms, automation equipment, fixtures, tooling, and sensor-integrated mechanical systems.
- Own the mechanical development cycle from requirements definition and feasibility studies through detailed design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and mechanical performance analyses to ensure precision, stability, robustness, and reliability.
- Define mechanical interfaces between robots, cameras, sensors, actuators, safety equipment, and process hardware.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, software, machine vision, AI, optics, and systems engineers.
- Evaluate and qualify robotic technologies, automation components, and external suppliers while driving R&D in intelligent automation and precision engineering.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial or research experience.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, mechanisms, materials, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with precision mechanical design, prototyping, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated capability in structural analysis, vibration control, thermal analysis, multidisciplinary system development, interface management, and verification planning.
- Teamwork and a strong interest in technology innovation.
