Technology FinOps Manager

Location: Mexico City; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients

What you will do

• Support IT teams with cloud and technology expense management practices.
• Build spend visibility through dashboards, reporting, and regular business reviews.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to identify cost anomalies, waste, and optimization opportunities.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, contract optimization, and consumption management with Finance, Procurement, and vendors.
• Drive FinOps adoption through unit economics, accountability, tagging standards, governance guardrails, and cost-management controls.
• Define KPIs, communicate insights to technical and executive audiences, and develop repeatable cost-optimization and incident-response playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technology operations, infrastructure, platform engineering, IT finance, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with cloud or enterprise technology expense management, cost reporting, or optimization initiatives.
• Practical experience with AWS billing and cost-management tools.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, variance-reporting, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
