Senior Team Lead, Procurement Accounting

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines; willing to work at Park Triangle Corporate Center, BGC, Taguig City. The role follows a temporary hybrid setup with three days of return-to-office per week and requires willingness to work the 8PM–5AM Manila shift. Additional shifts may be required to support global assignments across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for the Procurement Accounting process, including prepayments, GRIR, and accounts payable balance sheet accounts.
• Execute period close activities according to the closing calendar and service-level commitments.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals within the assigned process and entity scope.
• Maintain compliance with worldwide policies, applicable regulations, SOX requirements, internal controls, and audit expectations.
• Lead, develop, mentor, and manage a team of accounting associates, including succession planning and performance management.
• Drive global process alignment, stakeholder coordination, documentation, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• 6–8 years of professional experience, including experience in a multinational shared service center or BPO and global Account to Report operations.
• 2–4 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with accounting policies, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit support.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English and willingness to work the 8PM–5AM Manila shift and in the temporary hybrid setup at Taguig City are required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certification.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Additional language skills.
