IT SAP Functional Analyst, Expert - EHSM

Location: Oakland, California, United States. Hybrid work with an expectation to work onsite at the Oakland headquarters three days per week or more, based on business needs.

Salary: $128,000–$173,000 expected range; Bay Area range up to $218,000. Eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide expert SAP ERP consulting for Health and Safety business needs and advise business partners and senior IT leadership.
• Lead solution design and implementation for SAP S/4HANA Environmental Health and Safety Management.
• Serve as the SAP functional lead, review consultant deliverables, and remain accountable for delivery on assigned initiatives.
• Analyze complex end-to-end business processes, define current and future states, perform gap analysis, and document solution alternatives.
• Develop functional specifications, prototypes, test plans, and test scripts; support unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing through business sign-off.
• Own SAP EH&S interfaces and support RICEFW objects across project delivery, enhancements, and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, configuring, and developing complex SAP Environmental Health and Safety solutions.
• Expertise across the software lifecycle, including business process analysis, blueprinting, configuration, development oversight, testing, cutover, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Experience with delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile/SAFe, and SAP Activate.
• Ability to collaborate with business teams, technical analysts, architects, and external consultants on integrated SAP solutions.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA EH&S implementation or support experience.
• Experience with SAP EH&S cloud solutions, SAP EHS Workplace, and integrations with non-SAP systems.
• Utility Health and Safety experience, mobility or field solutions experience, and knowledge of SOX, regulatory compliance, and disaster recovery practices.
• SAP EH&S certification and experience integrating EH&S with SAP EAM, MM, HCM, FICO, SuccessFactors, PPM, or PS.
