SAP Middleware Developer (SAP CPI)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and support enterprise integrations across SAP, non-SAP, third-party, and cloud systems.
• Develop SAP Integration Suite/CPI iFlows using Groovy or Java scripting and CPI adapters.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and Concur with external systems.
• Apply integration patterns, API management, event-driven architectures, and message-based designs.
• Partner with functional consultants, enterprise architects, stakeholders, and integration partners.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP integration experience, including 3 years with SAP Integration Suite/CPI; the posting specifies 6+ years of overall experience.
• Hands-on experience with iFlow development, Groovy/Java scripting, CPI adapters, and SAP API Management.
• Knowledge of middleware concepts, integration patterns, OAuth2, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
• Experience with SAP business application integration scenarios and strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Integration Suite or CPI certification.
• Experience with SAP Event Mesh, SAP Advanced Event Mesh, SAP BTP, or the CAP framework.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD for SAP Integration Suite content transports.
• Experience migrating SAP PI/PO interfaces to CPI.
