Project Management Placement (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support Value Stream Management teams and programme leaders within the Project Management Office.
• Apply agile and waterfall project management methods and tools.
• Support project governance, maturity assessments, lessons learned, and integrated schedule planning.
• Baseline projects, identify critical path activities, and manage risks and opportunities.
• Create and maintain digital project monitoring, control, data analysis, and finance tracking processes.
• Work with multifunctional teams to support delivery on time, on cost, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate for the full 12.5-month placement, with an expected start date of 16 August 2027.
• Currently studying Project Management, Business Management, IT and Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing, Economics, or a science discipline.
• Practical experience with programming languages.
• Prior experience working within project teams is advantageous.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, adaptability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Subject to BPSS screening; UK SC-level security clearance or Export Control approval may also be required depending on the role.
