Phone Repair Technician, Lagos (Nigeria)

What you will do

• Diagnose damaged and returned phones using hardware and software checks, then classify devices by fault type and repair complexity.
• Disassemble smartphones safely and replace defective screens, batteries, cameras, charging ports, speakers, buttons, and other components.
• Evaluate, refurbish, reclaim, and record reusable components and housings while routing non-reusable parts for scrap or recycling.
• Reassemble devices according to model-specific work instructions, including torque, adhesive, sealing, shielding, and ESD-safe procedures.
• Perform post-repair functional, cosmetic, connectivity, and RF testing, then document results and assign final pass/fail and cosmetic grades.
• Manage spare parts and repaired goods in SAP, including consumption records, receipts, stock counts, discrepancies, replenishment requests, and storage discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of direct experience repairing cell phones or other electronic devices is mandatory.
• Experience using precision repair tools and electronic testing technology.
• Strong teamwork, time management, integrity, and work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience with software flashing and RF testing.
