is recruiting for a global energy technology client delivering solutions across power generation, transmission, and energy systems.
What you will do
- Represent the client in all commissioning activities on site and lead the commissioning team through Ready for Commissioning, energization, and final handover.
- Develop and implement the commissioning strategy, execution plan, schedules, resource plans, and mobilization plans.
- Coordinate commissioning disciplines covering HV primary equipment, protection and control, SCADA, telecommunications, and AC/DC auxiliary systems.
- Manage subcontractors, vendor specialists, commissioning engineers, and interfaces with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, the Customer, and the Grid Operator.
- Coordinate SAT, functional, interlocking, and system integration testing, while monitoring KPIs, punch lists, NCRs, corrective actions, and commissioning reports.
- Ensure safe execution and compliance with HSE, QA/QC, technical, contractual, and commissioning requirements, including final documentation and as-built records.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in HV substation commissioning.
- Extensive experience with 132–330 kV AIS/GIS EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV primary equipment, protection and control, SCADA, and AC/DC systems.
- Knowledge of IEC standards, grid codes, and commissioning procedures.
- Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team management experience.
- English is mandatory.
