TL;DR
Chapter Lead Engineer (Java/Kotlin): Leading and developing a team of backend engineers delivering secure, scalable, and resilient digital banking solutions with an accent on people leadership, technical delivery, and cloud-native engineering. Focus on guiding architecture and design decisions, strengthening DevOps and automation practices, and balancing team development with hands-on software delivery.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a chapter of 5–10 software engineers.
  • Drive performance management, career growth, hirhirify.global, and talent development.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineerhirify.global Leads, and global stakeholders on business-critical technology delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Champion engineerhirify.global excellence, DevOps practices, automation, Agile ways of workhirify.global, and continuous improvement.
  • Balance people leadership with hands-on technical involvement in software delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience within software engineerhirify.global teams.
  • Proven experience leadhirify.global enterprise-scale technology delivery in Agile environments.
  • Strong backend development experience with Java 11+ and Kotlin.
  • Deep knowledge of Sprhirify.global Framework, Sprhirify.global Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native environments, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, automation, Git, automated testhirify.global, and secure software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Nice to have

  • Bankhirify.global or financial services experience.
  • Experience with SQL databases, JPA, Hibernate, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Maven, reliability engineerhirify.global, and operational excellence practices.
