What you will do
- Develop and maintain reliable backend applications.
- Design and implement features, RESTful APIs, database integrations, and messaging-service integrations.
- Write automated tests and set up CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team and adopt DevOps practices.
- Contribute through mentoring, technical interviews, and continuous technology learning.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher; Java 11 or higher is preferred.
- Competency in Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Git or other code versioning tools.
- Experience with test automation using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of RESTful API development and strong software development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, design patterns, concurrency, and test-driven development.
- Effective communication and experience collaborating in Agile, multicultural teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL, JPA, Hibernate, or other database technologies.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Maven, or other CI/CD and build tools.
- Willingness to learn cloud technologies and IT risk.
