Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include Charlotte, NC; Greenville, SC; and Marietta, OH.

Salary: $114,960–$172,440 per year.

What you will do

• Provide senior technical guidance for civil engineering work on medium-sized projects.
• Develop and assess project scopes, identifying impacts on schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Coordinate civil, structural, client, and other technical disciplines.
• Review designs and engineering documentation for code compliance, quality, and constructibility.
• Manage project staffing, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and administrative activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or an equivalent qualification accepted for licensure.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Experience managing medium-sized projects, including budgets, schedules, and staff.
• Strong civil and structural engineering expertise, analytical ability, communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with current civil engineering codes, regulations, industry trends, and engineering software.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
