Summer MedTech VSM Intern (MedTech)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America. Full-time, onsite internship. Candidates must be legally and permanently authorized to work in the United States for the full internship duration and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship. The internship requires availability during business hours, 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour, based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.

What you will do

• Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of Value Stream Management across MedTech.
• Create and maintain VSM standards, templates, playbooks, guidance materials, and process documentation.
• Support Product Strategy Roadmap activities through data collection, consolidation, and documentation.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and visual materials for VSM performance monitoring.
• Contribute to VSM workshops, governance forums, capability enablement, digitalization, and adoption activities.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, and Finance teams to improve end-to-end alignment and execution.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited college or institution degree program.
• Undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; current or future employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Availability to work full-time throughout the co-op term; coursework must be completed outside business hours.
• Leadership or participation in campus programs or community service activities.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry.
