What you will do
- Source, select, and qualify components used in company technology.
- Investigate alternate component technologies and suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality and reliability.
- Serve as the technical interface between component and production suppliers and development engineers.
- Determine new and alternate component sources and implement approved changes.
- Develop vendor selection guidelines and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier change notifications and qualify changes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as an individual contributor.
- Experience with component sourcing, qualification, supplier evaluation, and technical documentation.
- Work location: Korea
