Global AI/ML Engineer Senior Manager

Location: Boston, United States or London, United Kingdom

Base salary in Boston: $173,000–$211,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 20% and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and optimization of Generative AI applications and enterprise IT tools.
• Administer and configure AI-powered SaaS tools, ensuring secure deployment and organizational integration.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tribe Leaders, Chapter Leads, and cross-functional IT teams to align solutions with business and architecture requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and enhancements that improve productivity, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
• Support proof-of-concept projects and assess emerging technologies, including LLMs, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
• Optimize software architecture for scalability, reliability, and maintainability while documenting designs and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of professional experience in software development or IT operations with increasing responsibility.
• Experience implementing AI-driven applications and multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
• Strong frontend and backend development skills with React, Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience with systems design, architectural trade-offs, integration best practices, and automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building user-facing GenAI or LLM applications.
• Knowledge of vectors, embeddings, RAG, and agent concepts.
• Experience with Neo4j, GraphQL, CI/CD tools, AWS managed services, FastAPI, Next.js, WebSockets, server-sent events, or messaging systems.
