Banking Centre Leader II

Location: Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. The role requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

What you will do

• Lead Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives in delivering high-quality client experiences.
• Hire, coach, develop, and support employees to achieve team goals.
• Deepen client relationships and support clients with financial needs, home ownership, and business creation.
• Monitor banking centre performance, create action plans, and pursue market opportunities.
• Manage and minimize operational risk while resolving and escalating client complaints appropriately.
• Represent CIBC in the community and help build new and existing client relationships.

Requirements

• Experience coaching and supporting team members to meet performance goals.
• Current Mutual Funds License accreditation in good standing through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-focused, goal-oriented, accountable, and capable of taking initiative.
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, financial advising, and performance-monitoring capabilities.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner designation.
