Engineering Manager, Memberships (Go/Vue)

Topgolf is a sports and entertainment company operating guest-facing membership and loyalty experiences.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and manage a full-stack engineering team, including hiring, performance management, career development, and mentorship.
• Own the Memberships roadmap from technical planning through implementation, QA, release, and post-launch monitoring.
• Guide architecture and design decisions across Go, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and API-based systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, releases, observability, security, and scalability.
• Partner with product, design, QA, and platform engineering to prioritize guest and business needs.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, trade-offs, and resourcing needs to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack breadth.
• 2+ years of direct software engineering management experience, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• 3+ years building backend services in Go, 2+ years building front-end applications with Vue.js, and 2+ years working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with architecture, API design, testing, release processes, cloud platforms, and modern CI/CD practices.
• 1+ year of experience with AI-assisted software development practices and tooling.
• Experience with memberships, subscriptions, or loyalty systems; the role is based on-site in Dallas, Texas, US, and requires authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
