Engineering Manager, Product (AI)

Location: New York, NY; must be able to work from or relocate to New York, NY

Salary: $182,800–$247,300 USD annual base salary, supplemented by equity compensation

What you will do

• Co-lead a cross-functional Notifications team with product management, aligning strategy, priorities, and success metrics.
• Drive projects from specification through implementation, experimentation, analysis, and ongoing ownership.
• Ensure notification infrastructure reliability, scalability, observability, personalization, and timely delivery.
• Use data and A/B testing to improve product outcomes and key performance indicators.
• Hire, coach, develop, and retain engineering talent while building an inclusive team culture.
• Set engineering standards, define team OKRs, manage technical debt, and remove execution roadblocks.

Requirements

• Experience leading, managing, hiring, developing, and retaining software engineering teams.
• Track record of shipping multi-engineer, multi-week projects with measurable business impact.
• Strong product judgment and experience in experimental, data-driven environments, including metrics and A/B testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across engineering, product, design, and data.
• Technical depth to guide architecture and implementation trade-offs and mentor engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Experience setting team OKRs and operating cadences that deliver significant company-level impact.
