Staff Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Annual base salary: CAD 160,000–220,000 for candidates located in Canada.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features for the Integration Builder using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Lead technical design for initiatives, making decisions that support quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build reusable, performant UI components for the no-code builder experience.
• Own services across implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Architecture, infrastructure, and platform teams to define and deliver secure, user-friendly solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural reviews, cross-functional planning, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building modern web applications in a full-stack environment.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with Express or a similar framework.
• Experience designing APIs, working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and building distributed cloud-based services.
• Strong product mindset and ability to collaborate with Product, Design, and Architects.
• High engineering standards across testing, monitoring, documentation, scalability, and reliability.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, consensus-building, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code tools, workflow engines, or visual development platforms.
• Interest in AI-assisted developer tooling or automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience.
