DevRel Lead (AI Safety)

Location: Global, remote; candidates should be based in the US or able to work US hours. San Francisco or New York is ideal, but exceptional candidates anywhere will be considered.

hirify.global is an AI safety company building a safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems through natural-language policies that are automatically tested, enforced, and improved at scale.

What you will do

• Own developer relations and drive how engineers and AI researchers discover, understand, and adopt the platform.
• Lead technical launches for open-source releases and developer tools, including the Halo framework.
• Write and publish technical blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, demos, and social content.
• Organize hackathons, meetups, and technical events, mainly in San Francisco and New York.
• Build technical communities and partnerships with AI labs, developer tools companies, and research teams.
• Track signups, repository stars, views, event turnout, and hiring pipeline to improve developer adoption.

Requirements

• Strong technical background as a software engineer, ML engineer, or researcher.
• Experience at a technical product company, preferably in developer tools, infrastructure, databases, or AI.
• Experience organizing hackathons, meetups, or technical events with measurable results.
• An engaged following among engineers or AI researchers on X, LinkedIn, GitHub, or another platform.
• Strong knowledge of AI tooling, including coding agents, evaluation frameworks, and open-source models.
• Fluent English and the ability to work US hours are required.

• Developer marketing or DevRel leadership for a technical launch that drove adoption.
• Contributions to or maintenance of popular open-source projects.
• Existing relationships across the AI research and developer community.
• Experience with AI safety, evaluations, or reliability.
